First of all, I'd like to explain why I'm here, in culinary school. I'm here because I love cooking. The kitchen is only place where I ever want to be. For me cooking is not just processing food but creating tastes, colors, and forms. Unfortunately, all this art has calories, so I'm limited in my creativity at home and have to consider the consequences of eating everything that I want to cook. My husband helps me a lot and appreciates my traditional dining and experiments as well; however, two of us are not enough to satisfy my cooking passion. Consequently, I've decided to share the results of my passion with others and become a professional cook.
Moreover, there are few places or even none in St Louis, MO where people can try Eastern European cuisine. This fact make me hope that after acquiring experience in the restaurant business for a wile I would open my own place (or become the Chef with own menu ) and share with St Louisianians my homeland food prepared at a professional level. Who knows?
